SOAR is RAPTOR Inc.’s signature classroom program, transforming primary-grade classrooms into vibrant “nests” of hands-on discovery. Guided by the imaginative storybook The Ghost of Donley Farm, the program makes science memorable by connecting literacy, curiosity, and real-world conservation learning.

During the 2026–2027 school year, RAPTOR Inc. will bring SOAR directly to first-, second-, and third-grade classrooms throughout Southwest Ohio. Over five engaging days, students will explore age-appropriate conservation science through interactive lessons, meaningful discussion, and activities designed to build empathy for wildlife and an enduring connection to the natural world.

The experience culminates in a memorable final-day visit from RAPTOR Inc.’s Education Ambassadors. The real-life avian counterparts of the story’s beloved stars. Meeting these remarkable birds helps students bring the book’s lessons to life, turning a week of learning into an experience they will remember long after the final page is read.
